Armstrong is one of the cleanest, most well-kept small towns in the state of Iowa. It has a rich history, friendly people, and pleasant lifestyle.

Country Greens Golf Course is a challenging par 36 9-hole course situated along the East Fork of the Des Moines River.

Suburban Estates subdivision is being developed through the middle of the golf course offering residents a great view and easy access.  You may qualify for a free lot there. (See link at top of page) Contact us if you are in need of housing. Many existing homes are also available for sale.

A full range of businesses offer services and products from excellent health care facilities to spas to cell phones.
Armstrong is home to Speltz Studio of Wildlife. J.D. Speltz is a renowned artist who has won the honor of painting many wildlife stamps for the state of Iowa. Speltz Studio is a must stop in Armstrong.

Armstrong-Ringsted School district offers some of the finest facilities in the area. A new junior high addition was built in 2003.

Armstrong is also known for its Independence Day celebrations. Thousands of people come together on the 4th of July for a great family experience.

A short (half-hour) drive west is Iowa's premier resort area -- Spirit Lake and Lake Okoboji -- along with Arnold's Park Amusement Park.
